When does a site need dedicated?
The moment someone else's traffic can slow your checkout. Shared hosting and VPS plans put you on hardware you don't control, with noisy neighbors, resource ceilings, and mystery slowdowns included. A dedicated server gives your sites the whole machine: every core, every gigabyte, all the time.
What makes a good web server?
Fast individual cores (each page view is mostly single-threaded PHP), enough RAM to keep your database and cache hot, SSD storage, and honest headroom for traffic spikes. Then a network that delivers pages quickly to visitors, wherever they browse from.
How Big a Server Do Your Sites Need?
We size web servers by peak concurrent visitors: the people on your sites at the same moment, typically a small fraction of daily traffic. This is the same ladder our recommendation wizard uses.
| Peak Concurrent Visitors | Our Recommendation | Why It Fits |
|---|---|---|
| Up to ~2,000 | Xeon E3-1246v3 | Four fast 3.5 GHz cores keep PHP + MySQL snappy for most sites |
| Up to ~10,000 | Dual Xeon E5-2650 | 16 cores / 64 GB RAM absorb busy stores and multi-site portfolios |
| Up to ~30,000 | Dual Xeon E5-2678v3 | 24 cores / 128 GB RAM for high-traffic platforms |
| More than that | Custom quote | Multi-server setups with a private LAN between tiers |
Rules of thumb for typical CMS/PHP workloads. Heavy queries, large carts, or poor caching shift the math; the wizard asks the right questions and emails you a concrete recommendation.

Web Hosting Server FAQ
Three telltale signs: your host asks you to upgrade because you're "using too many resources," performance dips at busy hours you can't explain, or you're paying for stacked VPS upgrades that would already cover real hardware. A dedicated server ends resource roulette. The whole machine is yours, and performance becomes something you control rather than share.
There's no artificial limit; it's your hardware. With cPanel/WHM you can create unlimited accounts and even resell hosting; what actually bounds you is CPU, RAM, and disk. As a reference, our 16-core / 64 GB configuration comfortably runs dozens of typical CMS sites.
Yes. Select cPanel/WHM (or LiteSpeed + cPanel) when ordering and it's installed before handover, with the license managed through us. Prefer Plesk, CyberPanel, or no panel at all? Full root access means anything runs.
For websites, comfortably. 100 TB is far beyond what even very busy sites consume in pages, images, and downloads, and only outgoing traffic is measured (incoming is free). If your sites serve heavy video or you're building a download platform, look at our streaming and storage configurations instead.
No. We don't block any ports. Your server can send email over port 25, run services on any port you choose, and the only restrictions are the ones you set in your own firewall. Combined with your own dedicated IPv4 address, your email reputation is yours alone, not shared with strangers on a pool. Additional IPv4 addresses and a /64 IPv6 subnet can be added at checkout for separating sites or brands.
Self-managed with serious backup: you keep root and control the software, while our 24/7 team runs the hardware, network, and data center, and answers around the clock when something on our side needs attention. A monitoring add-on and CodeGuard website backups (plans up to 200 GB) are available if you want extra eyes on the box.
